The fragrance's captivating juice evokes a dense, resinous, and mineral facet of ACQUA DI GIÒ. Crafted around bergamot notes, balsamic cistus absolute, and the richness of everlasting essence, these notes lend ACQUA DI GIÒ PROFONDO PARFUM its depth and intensity.
Evoking the ocean's infiniteness, the fragrance is presented in a deep blue bottle, with a tone that graduates from deepest blue at its top to translucent turquoise at the base. The flacon is designed with a sleek metallic blue cap, with a silver accent at its neck.
Heart note: Infusing the heart with intense richness and density is everlasting essence, whose scent is derived from the Flower of Saint Jean also referred as “golden sun”.
The plant's essence is extracted using steam distillation, creating a warm, spiced scent that takes the ACQUA DI GIÒ signature to new, fathomless depths. Intensifying the fresh facet of fragrance's heart is a touch of violet leaf absolute , whose natural and green note combines with lavandin heart's powerful, aromatic and floral scent.

Blending with the cistus absolute is resinous vetiver essence, with a smoky effect, and a woody mineral accord that brings a powerfully aquatic and resinous aspect

Great for money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am a big fan of Armani colognes. I have been using Amani Aqua Di Gio for a long time. As a result, I expected to like Armani Code. And, yes, Armani Code was to my liking and like other Armani colognes, the scent lasts a long time. My dislikes are that the scent is not more masculine and smoky. The scent resembles a female parfum and smells a bit too much of alcohol. I will say that a few minutes after application, the scent does subside a bit and smells more powdered and smooth. Overall, it would not be my first choice in the Armani line of colognes, but I would consider it as a 2nd choice. It may grow on me in the future.

Lovely scent
I already have the eu de parfum and was intrigued by the scent profile and price I got. It’s a fair bit different than the one I bought a few yrs ago. More fruity and intense. I reckon they’d actually layer really well.
