The best dry shampoo

Effective but expensive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on 5 day old hair that’s been tied up for 3 out of 5 days and had some hairspray in it , I’m not a huge fan of these types of dry shampoo’s I normally use a wet dry shampoo product , but I had heard good things about this brand so wanted to see if it was as good as reviews made out .
It’s ok , for me it’s just your typical dry shampoo not much different to the likes of Batiste or co lab , the biggest difference being that Amika is a lot more expensive .
It definitely works don’t get me wrong, it absorbed a good amount of oil. but as someone who constantly plays with her hair this leaves that powdery film on my hands and scalp which I cannot stand, although surprisingly my hair didn’t feel super weighed down by product and I was still able to play with my hair a bit without my fingers catching in my hair, I didn’t
expect this considering how it felt on my hands .
It did do a good job on giving my limp hair some volume and looking more clean but in comparison to other brands I have tried both affordable and on the higher price end , this is no better than the dry shampoo you can pick up for less than a fiver in a drug store .
I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase this.

Its ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product, the scent is nice and i like the packaging design 👌 although.i dont think its the best dry shampoo to be honest. I feel like I end up with itchy scalp using this one. So maybe not for me.

Absolute must have hair essential
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having heard about Amika before but never had tried it, I was super curious. It did not disappoint, the nicest fragrance I could’ve imagined, left my hair feeling fresh, clean, and did not leave a white residue. Texture wasn’t powdery, felt like it literally melted into my hair. Beautiful design packaging, I highly recommend and would repurchase, it’s the perfect dry shampoo for non hair wash days, or if it feels slightly greasy.

Cleaner looking hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product it’s self looks appealing and is easy to use.
I find the scent a little overpowering, as with all dry shampoos it has a fine powdery type consistency which tends to blast into the air when using it.
I applied to hair that was three days post washing and it definetly absorbed a lot of the oils and added some volume, leaving the hair looking fresher, and created a more matte look to the hair.
All in all, a good dry shampoo I just wasn’t a fan of the scent.

Not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this to try for free in exchange for my honest review from #Influenster. It took me a long time to get it to work at all, I just couldn't press the button, it was so stiff. I managed to do it eventually and was able to try it out, but wasn't that impressed. I didn't like the smell at all, it was very chemical, and I didn't think it worked that well. It didn't seem to get rid of the grease in my hair, just left it feeling lank and looking awful. Not for me I'm afraid.
