Aesop’s Cedar & Citrus Lip Salve provides exceptional, nourishing moisturisation in the convenient form of a smooth glide-on oil-gel. The formula contains a blend of vegetablederived emollients to help smooth and soften the skin while also imparting a light, non-sticky barrier and moderate shine. It offers an ideal daily solution for those exposed to dehydrating environments, from travellers to office workers and those who work outdoors, as well as those residing in or experiencing cold, dry conditions. ‘The first conversations around this product began many years ago when we envisaged a sumptuous gel counterpoint to existing matte finishes in the range—one with perceptible shine, finish and after-feel. We also sought to respond to our customers’ requests for a lipcare formulation of this kind that offered touchfree application. It took several years to find a suitable botanical base, refine the core properties and identify an efficacious essential oil blend. Time and patience were integral to the process
