Found in grains, Azelaic Acid is produced naturally by yeast that lives on normal skin. This multi-functional formula visibly brightens the skin tone while improving the evenness of skin texture. It also acts as an effective antioxidant. This formula offers a very high 10% concentration of high-purity Azelaic Acid in a lightweight cream-gel system.
Directions
Apply to face AM and/or PM to improve visible brightness and the appearance of skin texture. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Use sun protection during the day.

Great matte consistency
I haven’t seen much improvement in redness, but I love the consistency of the product. It leaves your skin feeling matte, so I am now on my second tube

Works quickly. Great for acne, not bad for hyperpigmentation. Note: it is very drying (this is as an oily skinned person), but nothing a good moisturizer can't fix.

some tingliness after first use
so i have combo, sensitive, and super duper acne prone skin. i felt a tingly sensation when i first applied it in my like the top part of my infraorbital bone, my cupids bow, and parts of my cheek. i had also added like a soothing cream ( i use dr althea 345 ) so yeah. not sure about results but its good to know if you have the same skin type as me. also the product has so much air in it? i get its 30ml but come on it’s ridiculous. also btw when i realised that the tinglyness isnt normal i like washed it off with some lukewarm water and added a generous amount again of that same cream since it had been washed off n to like help it recover. if this happens to you and you follow what i did then wait like 2-3 days til you start again xx

I recommend using The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% in the PM, applied after The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%.

Can this be used as a moisturizer? Or should it be used alongside my day/night creams?

Thanks for reaching out to us.
Going by what the brand advise, I would recommend using this product alongside your AM/PM creams. You need to use this product AFTER any water based products included in your skin regime and BEFORE your moisturiser. You can use it either AM or PM, however I would recommend using it in the evening. You do not need to use it twice a day.
Beauty tip - remember to always use a generous SPF to ensure your skin is adequately protected from the suns harmful UVA AND UVB rays.
