Best makeup base primer
Believe me, I have tried a lot of primers over the years, but this is the best yet. I am new to Lancôme, and found this primer is so smooth and really fills in pores and fine lines, helping makeup to stay on and look great

Lovely product, packaging terrible!
Moved across to Lancome from Clarins for foundation following an outbreak and this has been perfect, but needed a primer to help cover large pores. Had previously used Smashbox religiously until no longer available in UK, so thought a full move over to Lancome products would help. Love the feel and scent of the product and the way it glides on the skin. But I now have a glass dispenser which is half full and I can't get the content out! Have to open up and try and drag product up the glass using the internal wand. Would be much better as a tube that could be fully utilised, as with other brands. Disappointing, Lancome!

Amazing!
Was bought this as a gift, it is perfect and even visibly makes my skin look fresher and younger without makeup.
I wear under the Tente Idol Foundation and it really gives a flawless finish.
One gripe is the dispenser, which does not empty completely through the pump action, so you have to take the lid off and scrape around the inside to get the last drop, Which is invariably enough for at least 4 days use. Small price to pay for such a fabulous product though!

Pump broken
Really Not Happy about this purchase. as the pump is broken and the stick is stuck inside ! now I can’t get the primer out this was a lot of money and I think having it as a glass tube is not great as you can never get the stuff out if someone can help with this please from Lisa

Try it - you’ll never buy anything else!
My favourite primer - I have been using this for about two years and it’s wonderful. It blurs the lines and imperfections in my (not so young) skin and ensures that my foundation and concealer looks like skin, not make up. I love it.

Never worn primer before do you wear before foundation

Yes, a primer is used after moisturiser and before foundation. It's function is to keep your foundation locked in place for as long as possible and depending on what type of primer you choose, it can help to reduce oil break through, shine, increase hydration and prevent dryness. Primers can also help to illuminate the skin, blur imperfections and colour correct so there really is lots of factors to take into consideration when choosing the perfect primer for you!
This particular primer is great for smoothing out the skins surface, blurring imperfections, controlling shine and helping your make up to last longer.
Beauty tip - if you have combination skin, you can apply two or even three different primers to your face in different areas before you apply your foundation, depending on what needs targeting. Always wait a few minutes after applying your primer before you apply your foundation to allow the primer time to dry and become tacky in preparation for the application of your foundation.
