Directions
- At night, apply a thin, even layer to face and neck, avoiding the eye area.

Great retinol & vitamin C in one serum
I have been using a gentle retinol with great results for a few years now. I was interested to try this one as my very sensitive skin responds well to Kate Somerville products and I find it hard to fit actives into my routine with a reactive skin so it is great to have retinol and vitamin C together. The serum itself absorbs easily into my skin it has an orange scent which I like but it dissipates quickly. Results wise my skin is smoother, fine lines less noticeable, skin tone more even and my skin looks brighter. This is a mid strength retinol but for my sensitive skin it is on the stronger side. I use this only once a week which is the perfect amount for my skin, I can see it continue to work for 3 days after I use it. This serum can be drying but if you use a thick moisturiser after or an extra layer and for the next night or so I have no irritation. With once a week use I have had no peeling or flaking just much improved skin. I would not use this on my neck or around my eyes as it would be too strong for me. This is a great serum if you want to address fine lines, wrinkles and brighten at the same time and it really tightens the pores on my nose. If you have not used a retinol product before or have a sensitive skin build up use slowly, this is an amazing serum with two potent ingredients and has made a big difference to my skin.
