Directions
Spray on Aveda Thickening Tonic thoroughly from roots to ends, in sections. Comb through to distribute evenly. Blow-dry your hair with a round brush, using a nozzle to direct the air down each section. Brush your dry hair into the style you want.
Finish with Aveda Control Force™ firm hold hair spray.

Amazing Hair Thickening Tonic!
I’ve been using this hair thickening tonic for a few weeks now, and the results are incredible! With a small amount of spray my thinning hair looks visibly fuller. I’ve noticed much more volume, which is exactly what I was looking for. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly. Plus, it smells fantastic! It works well
I have fine hair that's thinning and this is miraculous stuff for adding some oomph and body to my hair. Not sticky or crunchy at all, it simply does a great job. Highly recommended. I've tried many products but this one works the best.

Feels like a needless step
I honestly cannot tell a difference between when I use this and when I don't. (I have long 2C-3B sort of curls, getting a little thinner with age. Maybe mine is not the correct hair type...)

I have fine, thin grey hair. This product made my hair feel sticky and as if it had clay in it. I tried using the tiniest amount but total waste of money.

What is the difference between thickening tonic and volumising tonic? How do I know which is best for my fine, thinning and ageing hair?
Hi, I think the thickening tonic coats your hair to look more fuller, volumising products give lift to the roots of your hair. I tend to use the thickening tonic once a week and other hair products the rest of the week. The tonic leaves my hair in lovely condition fuller, shiny and soft.
