Directions
PAT. PRESS. BLEND.
- Dispense a small amount on to the back of your hand. One drop delivers full coverage with fingertip application.
- PAT product with fingertips.
- Start at the center of the face and gently PRESS the foundation on skin.
- Use a stippling motion to BLEND outward. Work in small sections, focusing on one area at a time.
- After each use, wipe off excess product from nozzle and close cap tightly.

Exceptional foundation no comparison
Very sad that Nars is discontinuing this product in place of the new Natural Matte Longwear Foundation. I have tried the new foundation and it does not compare in any shape or form! It is runny, less coverage, patchy, and has these bubbles in the foundation bottle ( I think because of the new ingredients, it's almost looks like the foundation has separated so you have to keep on shaking it, but it doesn't completely get rid of the bubbles, it makes me cringe) .
I also got very oily with the new foundation. Whereas this foundation, is medium to full coverage, never patchy or runny, no bubbles and you get more product. I always get compliments and it lasts for hours with no touch ups. It does not oxidise, lasts for months and remains flawless. I have no idea why Nars keep on discontinuing very good products in place of sub par products ( in my opinion). So I had to get backs up before it was too late. I hope that Nars decide to keep this product, but this is highly unlikely.

Flawless foundation
I’ve been testing the NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation and it honestly gives that soft-focus, airbrushed look without feeling heavy. It’s a full coverage formula but still looks like skin, and it blurred my pores instantly.
I wore this for around 8–10 hours and it stayed matte with minimal shine, even in my T-zone. It didn’t oxidise on me either, so the shade stayed true all day. The finish is velvety matte but not flat, and it feels comfortable on the skin.
If you have oily or combination skin, this is especially good because it helps control oil while still keeping the skin balanced and hydrated.
The only thing I’d say is prep is key on dry areas it can cling slightly, so I recommend a good moisturiser underneath.
Overall: perfect if you want long-lasting, full coverage with a smooth matte finish that still looks natural.

Lovely matte finish and comfortable to wear
I bought the Soft Matte Complete Foundation last week and have really enjoyed using it so far. It applies nicely on the skin and blends easily without feeling heavy. The coverage is medium to full, which I liked because it gives a smooth and even finish while still looking natural. It has a lovely matte finish and lasted well throughout the day, which was especially important for me as I have oily skin. I also really liked that the warm shade I chose matched my skin tone perfectly without looking too yellow, which is something I often struggle with when choosing foundation. Overall, it feels comfortable on the skin and gives a very polished look.

My new Estée Lauder
I bought this after 15 years as Estée Lauder changed their foundation ( double wear) formula - gutted is an understatement . Someone recommended this as an alternative and I’m so glad!
It’s gorgeous on my skin , and doesn’t oxidise!! It only has slight transfer ( I can deal with that ) .
Thank god for this foundation. Playing round with the right shade at the min but I’m happy . Only reason it’s not 5 stars is due to the price tag however , it’s going to be my new favourite. Feels gorgeous on the skin and not too heavy .
