Directions
Slide the refill into the case before attaching it to the air conditioning vent. The Car Diffuser utilises the natural air flow in the vehicle to release fragrance but for more active diffusion, use it in conjunction with your car's air conditioning. If you're not planning on using the car for a while, place the refill back into the heat seal to keep the fragrance fresh. Each scent refill lasts approximately 3 months when opened and up to 18 months unopened.

I was surprised by the other reviews for this product but then I guess it is about personal taste or smell in this case. I am on my second refill and love it. I am not keen on an overpowering smell so it works well for me. It comes on when the heat or air conditioning is on but that I think was the point when it was designed. I agree it is expensive for what it is but it works for me.

Disappointing
I love Jo Malone products and have done for years. I was about to re-order the wood sage and sea salt diffuser refill but having read the other reviews may not now do so. I can smell a light fragrance when the refill is new and just after I start the car but then very little. I thought maybe it was me and I was going to give it another try but now, maybe not...... Have any product changes been made to instil confidence?
