The best hand cream!

So happy I tried it
I decided that after a heavy cold Winter my hands were needing a little extra help. My usual handcream is hydrating my hands but not repairing them and I’m frequently reapplying. I decided to try the Lipikar Xerand as I use othe Lipikar products on my very dry skin. The cream is quite luxurious but not at all heavy or greasy. It rubs in really quickly leaving no grease only well nourished hands. What I particularly love is that not only have my hands started to repair but also I am reapplying far less during the day due to the mask properties. It contains LRP Thermal Water as a base to hold everything together and for its proven hydration benefits. Also Shea butter which is a natural glycerin, used to keep the lipids between our skin cells healthy which then promotes repair. The cream also contains emollients which keep our skin feeling smooth and moisturised which is especially important to stop the feeling of irritation in very dry skin. I notice it also contains Dimethicone which is what forms the protective barrier and increases the repair and elasticity of our skin. I really love this handcream and my hands feel so much better after around 10 days. It will definitely be a repurchase product.

smell, application, texture ):
I personally don't like the smell at all and i have tried but I cannot overcome the baby wipes smell. The application is not efficient, way too much comes out and takes forever to rub and to manage by spreading to somewhere other than my hands + it has a pretty runny texture. I am therefore not compelled to use it at all instead deterred. It's a shame.
