Summer Staple
This product is a summer essential in our house. My autistic teen can be super fussy about textures of creams/sprays but this one is misty enough that she has no problem and uses it every day in summer. I love that I can use it over whatever makeup I've put on that day. Most importantly - it's not shiny! Top product!

I wore this in Dubai and it is AMAZING!!
I didn’t get any sunburn in Dubai summer sun (I’d been outside for hours) and I applied this every hour. It’s not sticky and it keeps your makeup the same unlike traditional wet suncreams

Leaves a white cast but still essential product
Yes this leave a slight white cast but it’s a great SPF that lets my skin breathe. My skin does not break out using it and I apply it throughout the day.

Greasy white cast
Bought this on impulse recently as it said it could be sprayed over make-up. It was a disaster. Left a visible white cast plus was very greasy so ruined my make-up and i had to redo it all and was late for work. I usually use anthelios uvmune and the body lotion which are great so was very disappointed. Do not buy this overpriced product which doesn't work.

Amazing
This is my new favourite product. I purchased it following positive experiences with other La Roche Posay products before, during and now following cancer treatment. It hasn’t let me down! I have very sensitive skin on my face following chemotherapy and haven’t been able to use the majority of products I used previously so needed a high protection sunscreen which wouldn’t irritate my skin and this didn’t disappoint!
My daughter who dislikes spray sunscreen and has been loyal to another brand for years was also converted.
It isn’t heavy like a lot of factor 50 sunscreens, it lasts well even with swimming and sweating, is kind to my very sensitive skin and honestly I can’t tell I’ve got it on, even when applied over makeup. I will be using this year round from now on.
The only slight negative is the bottle doesn’t last long, one bottle lasted 2 people (2 to 3 applications per day) for just under 2 weeks. That said I still consider it good value for money, as it’s such a great product!

We wouldn't recommend using this product on the body as the size of the product is designed for the customer to use it specifically on the face, however the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Body Spray 50+ 200ml can be used on the body OR the La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF30 Spray 200ml can be used on the face and body.

What's the UVA star rating for this product?

La Roche Posay advise that the star rating is a system that is licensed by Boots. The UVA circle is the only UVA rating officially recognised & regulated by product safety authorities in the UK.
This product is suitable for oily and blemish-prone skin and suitable for skin that is prone to sensitivity, sun-intolerance or prickly-heat. It also has exceptionally high, broad, photostable UVA/UVB & infrared protection.

Does this spray have the same ingredients as the popular spf 50 facial fluid - as in Mexoryl. Does it have the same standard of UVA protection and does it contain antioxidants? Thanks in advance.

The Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Fluid Ultra-Light contains 3 ingredients which makes up the Mexoplex Filtering System, these are;
BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE
DROMETRIZOLE TRISILOXANE
TEREPHTHALYLIDENE DICAMPHOR SULFONIC ACID
The Anthelios Invisible Face Mist SPF 50+ 75ml only contains one of these ingredients which is the DROMETRIZOLE TRISILOXANE.
All of La Roche-Posay's Suncare contain their unique Thermal Spring Water which is enriched with anti oxidants and minerals.
