Product Description
CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser is a daily cleanser which gently cleanses while providing a nourishing comfort that leaves skin on the face & body looking healthy and feeling refreshed. Suitable for normal to very dry skin. Also suitable for sensitive and atopic-prone skin. The gentle formula containing 3 Essential Ceramides, Glycerin & Hyaluronic Acid, gently removes dirt, oil and impurities from the skin while providing up to 24-hour hydration. Also containing Triglyceride and Squalane - ingredients that can be found naturally in the skin - the formula maintains the skin barrier and keeps skin feeling comfortable. Non-comedogenic. For use day and night. For a hydrating facial skincare routine, start with CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser. Then apply CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid for all-day hydration, and finish with AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 25 for daily protection. For a nourishing body routine, begin with CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser. Follow up with CeraVe’s Moisturising Cream formulated with 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid to protect the skin’s natural barrier & maintain hydration.
Directions
Use morning and evening. Apply to wet hands and massage into the skin, then rinse thoroughly.

Gentle on the skin
This is my go to product in the winter when I have dry sensitive skin. It is a gentle cleanser that’s refreshing morning and evening. Helps with dry patches on my face but I personally wouldn’t use this in the summer when my face is a little oily.

The Cleanser That Truly Works for Me
CeraVe is the cleanser that’s best worked for me. It clears my skin without irritation, redness, or tightness. I love that it’s fragrance-free, non-foaming, and really soothing — it even helps calm sensitive areas. My skin feels hydrated after every wash, not stripped, and it’s helped reduce dryness and flakiness. No breakouts at all, and I’ve tried so many other cleansers. This one’s definitely a keeper!

Leaves skin hydrated and clean.
This is one of my go to cleansers. It’s scent free and has a gentle formula. It always leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated. I would recommend to others, the bottle lasts and is good value for money.

Doesn’t remove make-up or mascara
After applying this product and rinsing with water, make-up and mascara were still on my face. Nothing was removed until I wiped my face with a towel. Same experience for three consecutive nights … this isn’t a product I can use as a facial cleanser. Very odd!

Can you use Cera Ve hydrating cleanser to remove mascara?
I never tried but wouldnt recomend. You need separate product first (miclear water, wipes etc) designed for it and then wash leftover with cerave

Does this cleanser remove waterproof mascara?
in my experience, yes! because it’s got a lotion/balm texture it melts waterproof mascara/ heavy eyeshadow off really well.

What toner would you recommend using with this product (I have dry skin btw).
Hi to be honest I’ve tried toners because I don’t use them very often the only one I did use was a rose toner that was ok my skins sSensitive and I suffer from eczema sorry I can’t help much!

Can this cleanser we taken off just with cotton wool or does it need finding off with water? Thank you
Hey there,
As the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser does foam up a little and is best applied to wet skin, it would be best to rinse the product off otherwise the skin may feel a little tight if any trace is left behind.
