Highlights
PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum is a gentle chemical-based exfoliator for lips with 5% gluconolactone and 1.5% alpha hydroxy acids to smooth and hydrate lips. Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) that works to dissolve the structures that hold dead skin cells together. Due to their larger molecular weight, PHAs work on the surface of the skin to offer mild exfoliation, making them suitable for sensitive skin.
This formulation also includes a high concentration (>50%) of glycerin to improve hydration and retain moisture as well as ectoin to support the skin barrier and offer long-term hydration. PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum helps to promote skin renewal on the lips to improve their overall appearance and texture over time.
PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum can be layered under Squalane + Amino Acids Lip Balm to gently remove dry, dead skin and hydrate lips overnight.
Note: You may notice a slightly tangy taste when using this product. This comes from the exfoliating acids which help to gently renew and smooth lips.

Directions
Apply a thin layer onto clean, dry lips on alternate evenings as needed. Allow the product to dry. Apply lip balm as needed throughout the day. If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Patch testing prior to use is advised. It is recommended that prior to exposure to the sun, users apply sunscreen or an SPF lip balm

SO HYDRATING!
Immediately obsessed with the way this leaves my lips looking. So hydrating and leaves a fresh glassy look to my lips whilst helping to heal them. I would recommend to anyone who gets dry lips or who is in need of a hydrating lip product. Only downside unfortunately is that it does have an all natural flavour so it is a weird taste, however this does not effect the use as it is not intended to taste nice only to help your lips.

Not as expected
I had high hopes for this but didn't find that my lips were exfoliated or smooth after 3 weeks of use. The consistency is very messy and watery.

You know what, she works 🌝
I hate finding a product trending sometimes it all feels like TikTok propaganda and what not but this product surprisingly works really really well! I deal with really dry lips and would always have to scrub or peel my lips . I simply don’t and I don’t even see wrinkles in my lips anymore ! Tip: after using allow it to dry in and follow up with something like aquaphor ! NOT VASELINE - She’s drying!

Nice lip product.
First time using this product and I was impressed how exfoliated my lips felt the next morning. Nice texture and easy application with the dropper. It had a sweet taste which I was t expecting and used before going to bed.

Could not wait to pick this up after seeing it on a reel. I read the reviews and could see a lot about the taste!? I couldn’t taste a thing no more than you would expect with exfoliating products so not a problem. It went in it dried quickly and then applied lip balm. No dryness, no tastes just me now committed to getting rid of my texture and loose skin issues on my bottom lip. Can’t fault it for the price and the first one of its kind so all good!

Was expecting more
The first thing I noticed about this product was its absolutely disgusting taste. As a lip product -whether you like it or not - it is going to get in your mouth a little bit. The product itself is not the worst, but I find myself avoiding it due to the horrible taste. Also, I find the packaging weird. Not the most convenient for a lip product. Overall, it didn’t deliver the great result i was expecting after reading the other views, and in my opinion a proper lip scrub does a better job. Often times, my lips are the exact same when I wake up in the morning with literally no difference.
