Always putting skin harmony first, this creamy formula is pH-neutral to be as gentle as possible.
pH-Neutral Amino Acid Base: A gentle base that removes impurities without stripping skin of its essential oils, balancing the pH-level of the skin.
Japanese Rice Powder: An ingredient used in classical Japanese cleansing rituals, rice powder softens and boosts luminosity while keeping skin moisturised.
Okinawa Algae Blend & Hyaluronic Acid: A special blend that helps replenishes the skin's natural moisture reservoir, immediately leaving skin soft, comforted and nourished.
Directions
A daily cleanser ideal for dry skin, but can be used on all skin types. Squeeze a small amount into palms and add water to create a creamy foam. Gently massage the face avoiding the eye area and rinse thoroughly.

I’m not surprised this is a bestseller — the Tatcha Rice Wash really lives up to the hype.
It gently cleanses and lightly exfoliates without drying out the skin.
My skin feels soft, smooth, and balanced after every use.
It also has a subtle, clean scent and a luxurious feel.
A bit pricey, but worth it for a daily cleanser.

Hydrating and incredibly gentle
I absolutely love this cleanser. My skin is very dry and sensitive, and so many cleansers leave my face feeling tight or irritated – but The Rice Wash is completely different. The texture is beautifully creamy and soft, and it cleanses without stripping the skin at all.
After using it, my skin feels calm, hydrated, and really smooth. It removes daily buildup perfectly but still leaves that comfortable, nourished feeling that dry skin needs. I’ve also noticed my complexion looks brighter and more balanced since using it.
If you struggle with dry or sensitive skin and want a cleanser that actually respects your skin barrier, this is such a beautiful product. It’s become a staple in my routine.

Rice Wash Supreme!
I love using this rice wash in the shower, so gentle on my face. At first I thought it was too gentle to be a rice wash but the results are really great. Soft smooth skin for sure. Definitely a staple product in my cleansing routine.
