The secret to a perfect matte finish

Before applying makeup to your lips, scrub them to smooth away irregularities. Exfoliating will soften the surface of your lips for a more even makeup result. For example, use the SEPHORA COLLECTION lip scrub, formulated with 95% ingredients from natural origin. What's the best way to achieve a total beige look on your lips?

1. Start by defining your lip contour with the lip liner. Follow the natural shape of your lips for a natural result. For fuller-looking lips, apply the liner slightly above your natural lip line. Shade in the corners of your lips and your Cupid's bow to add more depth. Finish by filling in the rest of your lips, starting at the center and applying in small dashes. Use your finger or a lip brush to even out and blur the color.

2. Apply the lipstick, starting at the center of your upper lip. Glide gently towards the outside of your mouth, following the contours defined by the liner.
