Smooths and makes it more manageable
I have thick, long, straight hair that's also bleached. My hair is in good condition but tangles easily and i get fly-aways. This is definitely one of the better hair oils I've used. It helps to keep my hair tangle free and smooths it down without leaving my hair heavy and weighed down. I can't say whether it would make a difference to damaged hair though.

soft!
I purchased this product over a year ago and use it probably once per week after blowdrying my hair. This hair oil performs well, doing what it says on the tin- leaving your hair super soft! It has a nice but subtle smell to it, and is clear in colour.
This oil has a medium thickness consistency. I like to add a small bit of oil onto my hand and rub together to warm it up slightly, then brush it through my mid-lengths and ends. I want to stress that you only need a small amount of this oil or the hair will begin to look greasy. The reason i gave this 4/5 stars is because of the packaging- i feel that it sometimes gives too much product and some goes to waste- a dropper may be better.
Using this oil has led me to try the redken all soft shampoo and conditioner from this range too! I enjoy using this oil and would purchase again when i run out. I would say that this does last a long time despite the packaging issue.

Have been using this for years. It makes a big difference to my thick hair and makes it more manageable and gives a sleek finish so I don’t have to straighten.

Wonderful hair serum/oil. Only need a small amount and the new lid is easier to use than previous style… also better for travelling than pump with clear lid (so easy to lose!)

Redken argon oil
I have white hair which is very coarse.
I use this along with my conditioner leave to soak in whilst in the shower.
Niw my hair is alway soft looks healthy and shiny.

New bottle design is awful
I have been using this hair serum for years and as an actual product it’s really good. However, they recently changed the pump bottle to a flip lid. Today for the second time, the flip lid has become open and half the contents has poured in to my bag. It’s such a waste of money and obviously has now ruined the inside of another bag. The pump lid was so much better, I don’t know of any other serums that have such cheap cap lids that come open so easily. It’s really put me off buying this again.
