We've made the switch to refill pouches for our 1000ml Flaky/Itchy Scalp Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. Why? Easy to pour and easy to store, they are 100% recyclable and reduce plastic waste by 87%.

Our new pouches are ready to use as they come, or, simply unscrew the reclosable cap, squeeze the middle of the pouch and decant — They're kinder to the planet and your wallet too!

Extremely soothing, with a fresh apple fragrance, it relieves scalp irritation while clearing flakiness and build-up. It is mild enough for daily use, and will leave your hair shiny and manageable.

Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo's exceptional ingredients include Lauryl Betaine, which cleanses without redness or irritation; and anti-microbial Piroctone Olamine, which helps relieve flaking and itching. Unlike other anti-dandruff shampoos, this one won't dry out your hair or strip it of colour. Use it as your main shampoo, or in conjunction with the recommended shampoo for your hair texture, for an occasional deeper cleanse.

Directions

Use daily until your scalp is clear, and thereafter at regular intervals, as required
Apply to wet hair and lather well with a gentle kneading of the scalp for 60 seconds
Rinse and repeat, if necessary
Follow up with the appropriate Philip Kingsley Conditioner and Scalp Toner for flaky/itchy scalps

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the upgrade. My barber suggested this to me and I was a bit cynical - but after a lifetime of using head and shoulders I have become the biggest advocate for this. I did not know how comfortable my scalp could actually feel. I know that sounds weird to say but do no knock it until you’ve tried it.

I like to get a keratin blow dry once a year to tame the frizz and of course with this you’re not supposed to use a sulphate shampoo which this is. So off I go on an expensive sulphate free shampoo hunt! I’ve spent so much money on top brands which all still somehow manage to irritate my scalp. It’s a constant battle. I wish PK could look to develop this itchy flaky shampoo as a sulphate free (I know they have a sulphate free option but it’s not the flaky itchy scalp one) … anyway I am back because there is simply nothing else that compares !
