lovely cleanser but
1 star taken off as I don't think it removes mascara well at all and oh my goodness it stings my eyes really badly! Would buy it again as a basic cleanser but will stick with my balm for removing makeup

Best cleanser I've ever tried
I love this cleanser so much. I struggle with acne and find it hard to find a cleanser which works for me but this one is gentle and does not cause any breakouts. Skin always feels so fresh and soft afterwards and my acne has gone down since using this product.

This product is gentle enough for my sensitive skin, leaves no residue , face feels squeaky clean, and it doesn't feel even a tiny but stripped of any oils.my only complaint is that I havent found the limited edition jumbo size again which is even better value (a regular size lasts me probably about 8 _10 months , you only need to use the size of a pea and you get a beautiful foamy texture that goes miles )

I really tried to like this but.....
I craved this for a long time and finally purchased it once my current face wash ran out. I've used it for a decent amount of time now and it's good. I mean it works - my skin tolerates it, it's non drying and my face is smooth after using. But!!! the smell and consistency is just to similar to toothpaste. It messes with my head when I use it in the morning. It's like I've reached for the wrong tube. And there is a lot of product left in the tube that is impossible to squeeze out. Usually when that happens I resort of scissors and decant the rest into a tub to use. But I actually think I'll just admit defeat and bin, and go back to what I was using before. I need a calmer, more tranquil sensation in the morning other than smearing Colgate over my face. Sorry! I really wanted to love this but just can't. This is the first origins product I can't get on board with.

My favourite face wash ever
I alternate this daily with a cleanser from NUXE which doesn't foam at all & is more nourishing, I personally love how extra squeaky clean & slightly taught the ORIGINS checks & balances makes my face feel especially after a long day at work in a dirty city! It really depends what you want!

Frothy face wash
I received this in a gift pack for my birthday! Wow! I absolutely love it. It's so soft, creamy & frothy. It makes my face so soft. It does dry your skin when you use it on It's own. But I got the illumination cream and the moisture with it. The three of them as a combination are the best I've used in forever. Definitely well recommend.

Sadly not for me
I found my face became red after using this face wash,looked like I had been in the sun far too long! I love origins products so I left it for a few days and when I used it again it sadly had the same result. So not for me. I might give it to a brave friend with a warning but wouldn't recommend it.

Literally the best face wash I've ever used.
I am obsessed. I've bought this twice now and it keeps my skin so clear and glowing. I tend to get build ups of blocked pores and if messed with they break out. In between purchases I've tried other face wash cleansers and experienced the build up reoccurring. As soon as I started using Checks and Balances again my skin is back to being super cleansed, free from block pores, zero spots, and literally glowing!
