Also suitable for acne prone skin. Hydrate sensitive, dehydrated and blemish-prone skin with La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Moisturiser. Formulated for skin which feels weak and fragile from over-drying treatments, NEW Effaclar H is enriched with: - Vitamin B5 + Squalane + Glycerin - Orellana Extract + Procerad: - Aqua Posae Filiformis, a unique prebiotic biomass from La Roche-Posay The formula soothes and calms skin discomfort and reinforces anti-imperfection efficacy, targeting imperfections and marks. In a gentle formula with physicological pH, the product is designed to strengthen skin barrier that helps to support microbiome function of the skin. Immediately, skin is intensely soothed and hydrated for 48H. Helps repair skin barrier and reduce redness associated with dry skin. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for my acne prone skin Ok, so I bought this for the first time after the reviews were coming in about the change of formula and it being bad now and for me its been great. The forumla previously may have been better but I never used it then so I don't know about that. I have oily and acne prone skin that is a bit dehyrated and it breaks out at the merest whiff of a moisturiser. This is the only moisturiser I've ever used that doesn't make me break out. I also use benzoyl peroxide cream, which La Roche Possay suggest this is good to use with. My skin is currently very happy and I have this moisturiser to thank

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suitable for sensitive skin It works well for sensitive and blemish-prone skin and absorbs quickly and mattifies the skin, controlling its shine. Key ingredients: Salicylic Acid, Lipo-hydroxy Acid and Zinc PCA. Another great product from La Roche Posay.

The new formula is not good- it doesn’t sink into the skin, doesn’t feel moisturising and is breaking me out. The old one used to be a great base for makeup too and this one is not. I am now having to look else where for a new brand and product.

My face was completely settled for years and then the formula changed. The new version is completely different and now disagree's with my skin. I am really disappointed as I thought I'd finally found the holy grail of moisturisers, only for it to go and change.
