Directions
Straightening Wet Hair:
-Start with towel-dried hair.
-Select Wet mode.
-Select maximum airflow and high temperature.
-Lock arms.
-Rough dry the roots.
-Once roots are dry, unlock arms and select desired airflow and temperature.
-Dry and straighten hair from root to tip in sections.
-Once your hair is dry, select Cool mode.
-Set your style with cool air for shiny finish.
Straightening Dry Hair:
-Select Dry mode to touch-up or refresh your style.
-Select desired airflow and temperature.
-Boost mode, the highest heat, is available if required.
-Straighten hair from root to tip in sections.

Love it ❤️
I am very pleased with my purchase the design and performance is excellent.. super fast .. easy to use and my hair looks as if I have just walked out of the salon .. my hair maintains its body without damage feeling silky soft and smooth. I am very impressed.

A quick and easy way to take my hair
My darling husband bought me a Dyson Airstrait for my birthday. It was the only thing I could think of. After major surgery my hair got very weak then suddenly went very curly. It was lovely while it lasted, but eventually my hair was just wavy and unmanageable. My husband loathed my curls so it took no persuading for him to buy me the Dyson. While I miss my curls, I have to say the Airstrait makes my hair beautifully straight (and shiny). With the cold option I am able to set my hair. And it is really quickly too. Happy with it. Only reason I’ve not given five stars is the price (and also I haven’t had it long).’

Summary first: does a reasonable job but short cable, limited uses and versatility.
Expensive when it doesn't achieve perfection. Still need brush and straighteners to perfect and style.
I'm close to the end of the guaranteed return period and still undecided. I have wavy/curly hair which I straighten for practical reasons. This device is quicker but not as good a finish as straighteners and my hair puffs up quite readily in warm/damp air. I have multiple high quality washing and styling products which I rotate through and not seen any difference in the outcome. It's impressive in some ways but expensive to be a one trick tool, I still need a round brush and to use it as a hair dryer to make my side parting/fringe look okay and less witch-like. If I needed to look my best I wouldn't be able to use this tool alone. The cable is too short.
I appreciate that this sounds negative but there are plenty of reviews with the positives and there are some positives but for me, I don't think it would allow me to travel with less stuff and I'd actually have to take an extension lead which is even more stuff! I'm good at styling my hair (hypermobile shoulders help!) and can make my hair look decent with this tool but not its best. It lacks the shine, smoothness and silky feel I'm used to achieving. It's okay on dry setting for a quick touch up to look more tidy.
