Great base for foundation
I've been using this under my even better foundation. A small amount goes a long way. You just have to be careful to gently tap into the skin. I use it on my t-zone only. I'll sometimes use it even without foundation in the summer when I want bare skin and it just makes my skin look nicer

Disappointed
I bought this expecting it to be very good as I have many other Clinique products that I love. However, I am very disappointed as it comes out the tube like thick vaseline and even after consulting a Clinique counter assistant, who told me to use a tiny drop, it still makes my foundation look strange . Come on Clinique make this better . I do not recommend this product

Really disappointed!
I purchased this product a couple of months ago and I'm really disappointed in it. The previous definer 'INSTANT PERFECTOR INVISIBLE DEEP' was a far superior product and seemed to work its magic straight away..... I loved it!! Why Clinique felt it necessary to change a product that appears to have suited women for years, is beyond me. Although reviews on this site are mainly positive, elsewhere this is not the case. Sorry, but I shan't be purchasing this product again.

Absolute garbage of a duct - do not waste your money
Very disappointed to find that Pore Refining Solutions has been discontinued from your inventory. Pore Defying Primer is definitely not a replacement for it and is absolute garbagem what a waste of money. Why in the world would you discontinue such a great product as Pore Refining Solutions and try to replace it with this? I'll bet you never had a complaint with Pore Refining Solutions, but you have many discontent customers such as I with this new Pore Defying Primer. This Pore Defying Primer does not perform like Pore Refining Solution, which I have used for over 20 years. Please bring back the original Pore Refining Solution product.

Feels nice but goes 'bitty'
Feels lovely on its own & makes my skin look smoother, however, if I put foundation or cc cream on top it clumps into tiny bits and feels awful. If it would not react with the foundations/cc creams I get (which are also Clinique) it would be great.

I was really disappointed with this primer. I swapped from another brand as I like your moisturisers but found this primer didn't go on well, clumped when I applied foundation and made my fine lines look worse! Plus made my skin feel dry when I had makeup on. Not impressed and feel I've wasted money.
