Small is fit for pencils, not brushes!
Got the SMALL one for a minimal travel & office makeup kit.
The overall size of it being mini is perfect for that, however, it's meant for pencils and too short for brushes! Not talking about anything long, i mean it's too short for normal everyday brushes like Morphe, Makeup Geek etc eye brushes, and doesn't even fit my trusty & compact travel companions like the F4 face brush by Makeup by Mario!!!!
You can zip it up, but the bristles of the brushes would be bent backwards. Also, the zip seems to get caught at the internal zippered pocket (not a real problem). Other than that, love the narrow size, love it has a zippered pocket for cotton swabs, love that the internal compartment is split into two (just enough organization for a travel kit). Why couldn't they have measured it and made it just 1cm longer?!?!
So, if you're looking for a nice small bag to hold and protect your pencils, go for it. If you'd like to take any brush that isn't specifically labelled "mini" with you, skip it.
