Directions

Rock 'n' Kohl in Bedroom Black:
1. To use, start from the inner corner of the upper eyelid and draw a line as close to the lash line as you can.
2. Glide along the upper lash line, drawing a thin line to make your eyes pop.
Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara:
1. Hold the brush wand horizontally. Press the inner-curved side into the root of the lashes and pull upwards.
2. Use the outer-curved side and wiggle the bristles from side to side, base to tip, to separate, lift and define.
3. Use the tip of the wand to coat the inner and outer corners, and lower lash line for precise application.

Composition

I was really pleased with the mascara in particular. It gave my lashes a natural light and was clump free. The eyeliner was too soft for my liking. Went on too easily and was very difficult to achieve the sleek look I like under the eyes. The makeup was scent free.

Whilst im not prone to buying a brown liner, I find it perfect for my water line. The mascara is well made and dark. Stands out incredibly well on my lashes and gives me the volume I need without the need for false lashes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved Charlotte Tilbury make up and this duo would make the perfect gift this Christmas… I’d even gift it to myself! It comes with a mascara and eyeliner and both last all day! The mascara isn’t thick or clumpy and applies so easily. I love the eyeliner which blends well to create a Smokey eye look. Definitely recommend!

The application rush for the mascara is perfect for getting a nice length on the lashes without any clumping. It divides the lashes equally with ease. When removing the wand from the tube you get the perfect amount of product so you don't really need to layer it. It drys nice and quickly with no transfer or smudging. I did find it took a little more effort to remove that my usual mascara but I'm not fussed about that . The eye liner is nice and soft and easy to apply. It has really good precision and is really easy to smudge in if you want a really defined smokey eye look . Again no smudging or transfer and was super easy to remove. The pencil stays sharp for quite a while so it should last for a good one time i normally use a retractable liner as i find you get less wastage with it . I love how bold and exciting the packaging is as it really stands out. It really is a great product that i need to do some experimenting with for different looks .

Being Charlotte Tilbury I thought it would be a good quality product. I liked the texture and pigmentation. It didn’t have any scent to it. I like the packaging I thought it did a good job of making the product look good quality. I opened my eyeliner wrapper to test and the end of the pencil was snapped off and I thought that was unusual for a sealed product. I had to sharpen it before use. On applying it it went on nicely but upon wearing it it seemed to smudge a lot which Is disappointing for an expensive eyeliner. I like the design of the mascara and the colours of both products. I found it quite difficult to apply the mascara as it seemed to want to smudge and it seemed like a bit of an effort trying to coat my eye lashes with it. It look nice but smudged a lot. I definitely wouldn’t buy these unless the products were altered to make them not smudge. A bit disappointed because I like the brand and design.
