Rated 1 out of 5 by from Went straight in the bin! This product is barely suitable for fair skin tones, and definitely not suitable for darker skin tones, as it leaves a significant white cast that does not disappear no matter how long you rub it in for. This product is also not suitable for sensitive skin, with a burning sensation felt within minutes of applying the product. If do decide to purchase, note that it stings your eyes and an oil cleanser is a necessity. The sun cream is incredibly difficult to wash off and leaves a residue on the skin. Please do not purchase this product. It was thrown straight in the bin as I wouldn’t wish this on anyone else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Be careful if you have sensitive skin! I have never used this brand before but thought I would try it as it said it was for sensitive skin and dermatologist recommended. I had a terrible reaction after using this once, the skin on my face became very dry, tight and started to flake off. Even my fingers reacted to the cream. I immediately stopped using the cream and now have a full tube that I can't use and it's not cheap - what a waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rosacea sufferers approach with caution I bought this recently as it would be perfect for my needs as a sun sensitive rosacea sufferer., as I have been using the face wash with no problems for over 6 months. I tested the daily defence cream by applying to part of one side of my face. It has made that area increasingly itchy from the moment i applied it. So I agree with other recent users of this product that it not suitable for sensitive rosacea skin

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How the mighty fall I have enjoyed and had great results using Cetaphil for a long time, and I very happily used this Daily Defence Cream for years. I purchased a new tube recently as I'd run out of my last one, and the formula has changed drastically for the worse. It feels chalky and doesn't properly absorb into the skin, and it actually ended up really irritating my skin causing it to be red, painful and dried out. Very disappointed and at a loss as to why they've done this to their product and would love a refund. It has put me off the brand entirely

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Formula has made me breakout this was the only sunscreen that didn’t break me out until you changed the formula. New formula is terrible and has made my acne come back very disappointed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why change the old formula? I used to love the old formula and have used for a long time, it was great for my sensitive skin, prone to rosacea. However, this new formula feels so different, not moisturising, hard to rub in and makes the skin around my nose sting which the old formula never did. Why change something so good? Now I've got to find a new moisturiser.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is awful I have been using this moisturiser daily for years but the new formula is honestly terrible. It now leaves a white cast and pills so bad. I really hope they bring back the old formula but for now, I'll be on the hunt for another decent SPF moisturiser, yet again.
