Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible new formula! My husband and I have been loyal users of this sunscreen for many, many years. We loved how it left our skin feeling non-greasy with a slight brightening effect — it was one of my absolute favorites. However, since the end of last year, I noticed that the formula has changed. When I apply it to my face (I always use moisturizer beforehand), it now leaves a lot of white residue or flakes. At first, the product feels greasy on my skin, but after a few hours, my cheeks become extremely dry. The new formula has caused my skin to become dry and rough for quite a long time — and it still hasn’t fully recovered. May I ask if you’re considering bringing back the old formula, or perhaps working on improving the new one? I would truly love to return to using your sunscreen, as it used to be my favourite.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaves skin dry Purchased thinking it was the daily moisturiser with SPF 50. After using for a few days I noticed my skin was really drying out. I now struggle to find the original daily moisturiser with SPF 50 which worked really well for my sensitive skin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a shame Such a shame - used this product for years and LOVED it. But now they’ve changed the formula and it awful. The product splits in the contained, creating a watery mess, the cream that is left doesn’t settle into the skin very well, plus it left my skin dry and irritated. Seeing all the other reviews (which aren’t incentivised by free products) makes me realise I’m not alone in this experience. Time to find a new daily moisturiser.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is horrible I had been using old formula cetaphil for years before the new one came out. It left my skin so flaky and peeling. I wish the old formula can be brought back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what it used to be I have used daily defence spf 50 for years and years and it was perfect until you changed the formula. It uses to be fine with my rosacea but not anymore. It does cause breakouts sadly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very bad The new formula of spf is terrible. It makes my skin dry not hydrating at all like previous one. I was using that one from last many years. I was not expecting that seriously makes me feel bad about brand.
