Directions
Massage cleanser onto wet skin, then rinse thoroughly.
For best results, use daily with your favourite CeraVe moisturiser.

Saved me
I recently had a skin meltdown when I suddenly became allergic to all derivatives of benzoic acid (including sodium benzoate). It got so bad I couldn't put anything on my skin without getting a chemical burn or breaking out really badly. This is one of my saviour products along with their hydrating moisturiser. This cleanser doesn't irritate my skin or break me out. I'll never try another as long as they're selling this and don't change the ingredients.

I've been using the CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. As someone with combination skin that's prone to dryness and occasional breakouts, I’m always on the lookout for a cleanser that can strike the right balance—and this one delivers.
Texture & Application:
It starts off as a creamy, lotion-like texture and then transforms into a gentle foam when massaged with water. The transformation feels luxurious and makes the product easy to spread across the face. A little goes a long way.
Effectiveness:
It removes light makeup, sunscreen, and excess oil without stripping the skin. My face feels clean but not tight or dry afterward, which is a big plus. It’s not the most heavy-duty makeup remover, so if you wear a full face of long-wear products, you might need a double cleanse.
The inclusion of ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and amino acids helps maintain the skin barrier and hydration.

Been using this for years since it was recommended by dermatologist. Unlike other cleansers this is non foaming. It exceptional on your skin. Non foaming is important especially
If you have dry skin.
I ensure I’m never out of this, always buy them in pairs.

Refreshing Facewash morning and night
An excellent product. I have been using in the morning and at night for my skincare routine and it has contributed to completely transforming my skin. My skin is clear and refreshed. I started this in preparation for my wedding and wow I’m so glad I did!

A staple for your skincare!
I really like this cleanser, I’ve been using it for past six months now. I will typically wash my face once a day in the evening. I always make sure my face is damp first, then I use one pump and lather it into my hands before applying it. I usually cleanse for a minute before rinsing off. It leaves my skin feeling really clean and refreshed without that tight, dry feeling that other cleanses do. I have quite sensitive skin and I find this cleanser to be really gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin. Overall, I think it’s a great budget friendly cleanser!

Can you use Cera Ve hydrating cleanser to remove mascara?
I never tried but wouldnt recomend. You need separate product first (miclear water, wipes etc) designed for it and then wash leftover with cerave

Does this cleanser remove waterproof mascara?
in my experience, yes! because it’s got a lotion/balm texture it melts waterproof mascara/ heavy eyeshadow off really well.

What toner would you recommend using with this product (I have dry skin btw).
Hi to be honest I’ve tried toners because I don’t use them very often the only one I did use was a rose toner that was ok my skins sSensitive and I suffer from eczema sorry I can’t help much!

Can this cleanser we taken off just with cotton wool or does it need finding off with water? Thank you

As the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser does foam up a little and is best applied to wet skin, it would be best to rinse the product off otherwise the skin may feel a little tight if any trace is left behind.
