As the sun sets, she draws strength from its rays and releases the power within. This Burberry fragrance is a gourmand aromatic woody scent. The signature trio of vanillas from Goddess Eau de Parfum is amplified with a fourth vanilla wood (vanilla SFE), that has a smoky character. When combined with luminous lavender essence, it intensifies the fragrance with a vibrant woody scent.
Inspired by the colours at sunset, Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum Intense is housed in a square bottle filled with a light ambery fragrance and decorated with a golden medallion. Dark beige packaging with a gabardine-inspired gold label references the brand’s heritage. Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum Intense is designed to be refilled. Refill sold separately.

Beautiful smell
Such a beautiful smell and lasted so long on me. Normally, perfumes don't tend to last on me so was really pleasantly surprised by this one. The smell is really nice too and I get lots of compliments by it.

An everyday fresh simple perfume
I've sampled this perfume a few times and it's just okay. It doesn't smell very unique. I do like vanilla and lavender but the perfume is a bit overpriced for what it is. But if you like something simple you could wear everyday, then you might like this.

You'd expect that a fragrance based around four different varieties of vanilla would be extremely sweet, but Burberry Goddess Intense is darker & boozy from the start, with the patchouli coming through pretty quickly alongside the bourbon. There is also a sprinkling of lavender over the richness, to prevent it from becoming overbearing.
There's a hint of powdered white florals boosting up the increasingly powdery lavender, but none of them are strong enough to stand out above the lavender. The vanilla absolute develops slowly making the fragrance a bit sweeter, but not overly sweet thanks to the bourbon & addional woody tone, which I'm not sure how to describe - kind of balsamic, but also buttery smooth and with a touch of treacle. Very interesting.
Over the hours the woody vanilla blend becomes smokier and a slightly more earthen undertone becomes more apparent behind the bourbon & patchouli, which I'm guessing is the 'vanilla caviar'; dark, sweet, dirty and spicy booze = slightly more traditionally masculine edge, which toughens up the blend. Burberry Goddess Intense definitely packs a punch; this will wear for the entire day and it never becomes a skin-scent.

I absolutly adore Burberry Goddess Intense, just as much as Kayali's LE release Vanilla Royale because of the similarities between the fragrances; this isn't anything I'd call an outright dupe, but the similar vibes between them are very strong. Very happy with my purchase and I'm delighted that you can buy refills for it. This ticked all of the wants I've been looking for in a fragrance to replace Vanilla Royale, which is becoming hard to find now. I'm still wearing Burberry Goddess Intense now as we head into spring, but I'll be wearing the lighter original Burberry Goddess during late spring & summer due to the richness of this.

Lovely packaging - perfect gift
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice sophisticated looking packaging, perfect for gifting. I gifted this to my mum so I was able to experience the scent. The scent is the perfect mix of sweet and woody aromas a very sophisticated scent.
My mum also commented that it was very long lasting and she was very impressed with the product!
