Directions
For first application, leave on the hair for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. For subsequent washes, massage gently into hair creating a lather, then rinse. Use 2-3 times per week for the first 4 weeks, then once a week.

Does not work as well as original Dercos Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
After running out of the original Dercos shampoo, I tried this one. It does not work at all and is rather hard to lather - I find myself needing to use a lot at once to cover my entire scalp. It has not prevented dandruff flakes at all - in fact, I have noticed an increase in flakes ever since I started using it. I have rather thick hair and fairly dry, not oily hair.

Unmanageable in consistency and technique
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *opens bathroom cabinet; sigh!* I keep coming back to this shampoo in the hope that my experience of it will be different this time but alas it isn't to be it seems. I have quite a dry scalp now due to living in a hard water area, not consuming enough water daily (I could lap that stuff up like a pesce at one point), and through medical issues exasperated through stress and boy has life been a stress this past year. Because of this my scalp is dry, itchy and feels tight though there's no flaking or dandruff, and therefore finding a shampoo that will cleanse my hair and scalp thoroughly without short or long term issues is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
High expectations with the gel-like formula when it comes to application yet it doesn't lather very well nor can I spread it around my head easily - it's a little gluey and I'm having to use a big dollop of product just to be able to cover my entire scalp - not ideal when that's pretty much half of the 200ml bottle gone. The small areas I do manage to wash seem thoroughly cleansed and the product rinses out well leaving no itchiness afterwards but that's really one other positive I've experienced.😐
Fragrance-wise there's a minty fresh body wash scent to it which I actually like, wakes the senses up!
Overall this Vichy Dercos Anti-dandruff shampoo and I just aren't compatible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal user of Vichy products, especially their anti-dandruff shampoo for itchy scalps, because I suffer from a type of eczema and cannot use just any shampoo. Initially, this product was fantastic for my hair, reducing both itchiness and dandruff. I even bought four bottles. However, the last time I used it, my hair became a disaster. Dandruff started falling everywhere when I moved my head, and the itchiness forced me to scratch so hard that I developed bald spots on my scalp. I had to stop using it entirely. What once was the only product that suited me has become my worst enemy.
I feel sorry because it is not easy to find an alternative, especially after trying dozens of medical and pharmaceutical shampoos. It may still work well for others, but unfortunately, it no longer works for me.

No Dandruff
I have never had a problem with dandruff, but recently I have noticed a few flakes and also my scalp had started itching, so decided to treat it before it got any worse, and this was recommended to me by my daughter who loves it. It's suitable for every day use although I wash my hair every other day. I was quite impressed that after the first use, the itching did stop, although it took a few more uses for the flakes of dandruff to stop completely. After a couple of months, my hair was back to normal, no more dandruff, no itching at all, and supersoft hair. I would definitely buy this again should the dandruff and itching restart.
