A beautiful, rich scent that’s strong and perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried a sample of this Montblanc fragrance, it smells amazing, rich, and sophisticated. It’s definitely on the stronger side, so I feel it’s better suited for cooler weather, especially in autumn or winter, rather than for summer wear.

Wonderful scent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing this for the past few hours wow, it is good - outstanding. The opening is very misleading because the overriding and very strong impression of the immediate opening is coconut. That's not necessarily a bad thing - if you like coconut fragrances and, having tried Le Beau, I am not too keen. Within a few minutes however the coconut dries down to a resting state that exudes a complex but overall sweet spice. The coconut note is still there but now as a more floral and masculine violet. The wood note in the base rounds everything off in a masculine direction. It is an absolutely brilliant fragrance and partly because there is no mainstream or mass designer fragrance that is even close to similar in the dry down and after the opening coconut disappears . Explorer Platinum is definitely good for almost all age groups. I think this is because the sweetness is not extreme or predominant but is instead a subtle and refined set of spices. The biggest impression is of a light and clean smell that reminds me beach on a sunny day with with the sweetness being a cool cocktail. I think it is a great summer scent and certainly refreshingly - literally refreshingly - different to the citrus summer scents that have their place but which can become very boring. That said, the complex spice notes mean that I could just about wear this in winter. This is a wonderful scent.

Freshness with a fruit vibe, I like it

I did really like wearing Montblanc Explorer Platinum. The first spray hits with a fresh, slightly fruity vibe that feels really clean and energizing. After a little while, it softens into something greener and cooler, almost like walking through fresh air in the mountains, with a nice woody base that makes it feel grounded.
What I like most is how easy it is to wear as it feels modern, confident, but not over the top. It lasts a good 6–7 hours on me, which is enough to get through the day without needing to reapply. Overall, it’s a fresh, classy fragrance that stands out just enough without being too bold.

Everyday wear

The opening is really fresh with a clean, green vibe that feels uplifting, and as it settles I get more of that smooth cedarwood which gives it a nice masculine warmth. It’s not overpowering, but people around me do notice it, especially in the first couple of hours. On my skin it lasts approx about 6 hours, and even longer on clothes, which is good enough for a full day at work. I find it versatile. It’s perfect for the office, casual outings, or even an evening out.

Sweet, elegant and long lasting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Montblanc Explorer Platinum has just been added to my ‘select few’ collection. The first spray hits you with a burst of freshness and sweetness which great, as it’s not too overpowering after a few minutes. As it settles, the cedar wood steps in, giving it a rich warm homely feeling which is pleasant throughout the day.
It’s fresh enough for daytime wear, yet has a depth that makes it work just as well in the evening. The real standout is how it lingers hours later where you’ll still catch hints of it. A great choice if you like something modern, refined, and long lasting without being too heavy.

Nice fragrance

Nothing special about the texture of the box but I'm sure a full size one will have something a bit more special. The scent was very nice and one I'm considering buying. Not sure about value for money as it was a free sample from influenster. If priced well it would be a nice everyday wearer or one for special occasions.

Great aftershave for work
