It does what it says…
Which is protect your skin from loosing moisture by creating a barrier and thus keeping your skin feel soft and moisturised. What it does not do, is provide any hydration to parched and dry skin.

It does not moisturise your skin at all. Please, remember not to trust reviews which are part of promotion as they are not truthful. The price is OK, not too expensive and it has a good description, however it does not do anything if you are 40 or over. It is not enough concentrated or rich to moisturise your skin. Not even a bit. It does not harm your skin either. Simply, it is a donation to COSRX just to keep their business running. But it does not donate or contribute anything to your skin. Harmless but useless. Would I buy again? If I can not afford an expensive cream, yes, I will buy again just to create a deceptive idea in my mind that I look after my skin. It does Not help with smoothness or wrinkles as well.

Do you use an essence before of after hyaluronic acid?
After having a look on the internet, all of the articles say that essences should be used after cleansing and toning, but before serum or moisturiser. It makes sense to add another layer of moisture before using hyaluronic acid.
