Highlights
A water-free vegan solution with 1% pure retinol to combat signs of ageing like wrinkles and photoageing.
Retinol's irritating properties have been extensively studied and proven, and there are new technologies that mimic its effects without causing irritation.
The Ordinary generally recommends using Granactive Retinoid instead.
Directions
Apply a dab to your face in the evening after water-based serums but before thicker creams.
Do not use with other retinoid products. Use sun protection during the day. Avoid unprotected sun exposure.
If irritation develops, stop using and contact a doctor. Only use as indicated on intact skin. We recommend doing a skin test before use.

This product is okay. I used it for a while and it didn't have any negative affects other than a bit of purging at the start but in the end result i saw a bit of change but didn’t see any major difference compared to other retinols I've tried out.

BEST. RETINOL.
I have tried all retinols and I mean ALL. even the ones that are 6x more expensive. Nothing beats this one, a few drops go a long way and it is the absolute best for acne and post acne marks. The squalene is also very hydrating for the skin. It has an oily texture but it wont break you out

Retinol oil
I personally didn’t like this retinol because it is in squalene oil. I didn’t like how oily/greasy my face felt when using it. Plus, you have to keep it in the fridge, which led to me not using at as much because of the faff of having to go down into my kitchen to retrieve it and put it back.

Still a favourite
Using this since 2016 and it's still one of the best retinols on the market. Even though Ordinary changed the formula a few years back. Good results, safe, no burns, in squalane, good as make up base too. Love it. Goes everywhere I need regenerative powers of Vit A, which is pretty much everywhere.

Can this be used under the eyes? Also for people who usually buy this, do you know how long it usually takes to be restocked?
No I wouldn’t use around the eyes. Says not to on bottle. Not sure when it’s restocked
