Classic scent
It's a beautiful scent, my mother wore it throughout my childhood. It has a good lasting power, and can be smelled from afar. I bought a bottle recently to gift to her, and it's just as good now as it always was

PLEASURES opened nicely; I love the scent of violets, and they're certainly here. In abundance. Sadly it just went downhill from there.
I had already fallen for PLEASURES after the opening, and awaited the pretty florals, then a sweet and creamy dry-down… Instead, all I got from there onwards were sharp & florals.
At least I’m guessing they’re meant to be florals. I was unable to identify them; it was just a jumble.
The only note I could seperate was the dreaded patchouli. It started of so well. It just imploded on itself; as if someone had gone around mixing up several testers.

Price
I recently purchased this for a very close friends birthday present. There’s nothing bad I can say as it’s a beautiful fragrance. The 1 star is given for the price of this 50ml bottle as the same costs £35 in Boots but sadly I chose Sephora as I trusted them and didn’t feel the need to check elsewhere. Previously, feel unique; I’ve never had this issue. Hence sad for the over amount I spent.

Where is the Pleasures shower gel?
This perfume has ben my favourite for more years that I will tell you. I do not wear anything else as a perfume. it is a best seller for EstÈe Lauder, so why have you stopped making the Pleasures shower gel?? Why are you not promoting this beautiful perfume more? if it isn't broken, please don't try and fix it is an important business model.

Unique fragrance
I've been using this perfume for over 20 years. It's a beautiful, fresh floral fragrance that does actually smell like a flower garden after a spring shower. I find that most perfumes on the market now are so heavy and all smell the same. Pleasures is light and cheerful and lasts without being cloying. It's completely unique.
